PEMPEK

One of the unique foods from Palembang is pempek. Basically it is made of fish paste, tapioca flour, water, a little salt and some additional ingredients depend on what kind of pempek is made. Different kind of pempek will make a different method to the shape and taste. For example, pempek kapal selam have an additional boiled egg in it and have a unique shape that like a submarine for Palembang people, pempek lenjer have a shape like a stick, and pempek ada’an have a shape like a ball. And also it is usually served with cuka which is made by mixing water, brown sugar, vinegar, and chilli.

WATER DISTRIBUTION

The water that used in our house is actually distributed through several processes. First, the cold water that comes from the water company is distributed to the house by pipes. After that the water will be distributed to some household tools that need cold water such as toilet, wash basin, bathtub, and sink. Some of the waters also saved in the cold water tank. From the cold water tank, the water will be distributed to the hot water tank with some heating process. And then the hot water is distributed to some home appliances that need hot water such as sink, bath, and wash basin.
