Sate


Sate is a unique food originally from Madura. Sate consists of meat that is stacked together by a stick and then grilled, this makes it’s appearance very unique and tempting. There are various kinds of meat that can be used to make sate, like mutton, chicken, beef or even intestines. Sate is usually served with sweet soya sauce, sliced chili, and shallot. To make it complete, people usually eat sate with either rice or lontong (a package of cooked rice wrapped in a banana leaf).
