There are so many unique foods from Macassar. Sop Saudara is one of them. The color and flavors of the soup is very unique. It is because of the special spices added to the soup, such as soy sauce (which make the color of the soup become brown), etc.
The soup contents many kinds of innards cows that can be chosen by our self and my favorite are paru (lung of cows that have been dried), heart, tongue and meat. The soup usually be served with perkedel (croquette of spicy ground meat and boiled potatoes) and laksa (fine noodles similar to verimicelli)
